One of my earliest comments asked if I could make this video into a sound (this is done by downloading your finished video from TikTok and re-uploading it). This meant that other users could use my sound for their own videos, which is essentially free advertisement for my original video and account. At the time of writing, there are currently 25 video that are using my original sound. If you can create a sound that other users will want to incorporate into their own videos, then this might help boost your chances of success.

For your videos to go viral on TikTok, they must get a lot of ‘shares’ because this projects your videos to a larger audience. That is why you should make your TikTok videos as engaging as possible to stir and retain people’s attention.

As a beginner, target around 400 views and 100 likes within 30 minutes of posting your TikTok video. Anything less than that may mean that your TikTok video has fallen short of going viral.

  • If 400 views = 30 minutes,
  • 800 views= 1 hour
  • 1200 views= 1 hour and 30 mins
  • 1600 views= 2 hours

This way, you get a little less than 10,000 views within 24 hours. This often suggests that your TikTok videos are on their way to becoming viral.
